Her lawyer disputes the opinion of the experts. But it has called her work on dozens of other cases into question. The debate today, focused on a request from Chief Public Defender Darell Vandeveld for his office to have access to information about all cases involving Henderson right now. He said, "We have not gotten the letter he received from the 6 pediatricians. We have not gotten anything as far as the 11 cases that were sent out for review and came back as flawed." District Attorney Jack Daneri said, "We have been out front on this. The judge indicated as much from the bench. He believes we have stayed on top of it, and we are." Vandeveld also suggested that prosecutors knew problems existed with Henderson's work as long as 10 years ago, District Attorney Daneri disputes that. He said, "What he pointed to was one case where there were different expert opinions. That happens all the time." Judge Ernie DiSantis will now decide how much information about cases involving Henderson will be released.
